The AI notetaker that gets the hard words right
Your AI is only as good as what you feed it. Feed it a transcript with your product names, acronyms, and numbers spelled wrong, and you spend the afternoon hand-fixing the output.
Wispr Flow Notetaker uses your dictionary and calendar, so product names, acronyms, numbers, and uncommon names come out spelled right. It pops up when your meeting starts and captures Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and Slack huddles with one click, no bot joining the call.
Then your meetings show up inside Claude or ChatGPT through the built-in connector. No copy paste. Try Notetaker free on Mac and Windows.
How to Stop Running Late: The Leave-By Worksheet
Still finding your keys at the time you meant to leave?
Check what that time actually included. A drive estimate doesn't cover packing your bag, getting downstairs, or reaching the right room after parking.
If you count only the journey, those minutes have nowhere to go. They come out of your arrival time.
Treat that as a planning error you can correct. Calling yourself unreliable doesn't add the missing blocks.
How do you work backward from arrival?
Start with when you need to be there, then subtract the whole chain.
Count travel and three hidden blocks:
Getting ready to leave: shoes, bag, keys, anything needed before heading out.
The walk to the car/door: the transition from being ready to starting the main trip.
The arrival buffer: parking, finding the room, checking in, or getting settled.
Arrival time - arrival buffer - travel = leave-by time.
Here, leave-by means starting the main trip, after the walk to the car/door. It doesn't mean starting to look for your shoes.
Leave-by time - walk - getting ready = preparation phone alarm.
Hypothetical before: You need to arrive at 9:00. The drive takes 25 minutes, so you plan to leave at 8:35. That leaves no time for the transitions.
Hypothetical after: Allow 10 minutes for arrival, 25 for travel, 5 for the walk to the car, and 15 to get ready. Main trip starts at 8:25, walking starts at 8:20, and the preparation alarm rings at 8:05.
Those are illustrative inputs. Use times that fit your journey.
Keeping departure promises is one part of following through across a week: The Execution Bundle includes both NoFluffWisdom books, with The 90-Day Discipline Blueprint providing weekly steps, a printable tracker and a restart plan beyond one departure. 7 Steps to Change Your Life supplies direction alongside that follow-through. 25% off with code 25off.
Which late type keeps breaking your plan?
A correct calculation can still fall apart at the alarm. Look for three patterns: the optimist, the one-more-thing, and the avoider.
These are planning patterns, not diagnoses. You might recognize more than one.
The optimist's first fix is available now: replace your best-case travel guess with the actual time from a recent comparable journey. The other patterns need rules for what happens when it's time to move.
What's in the member section
The Leave-By Worksheet: blank fields, arithmetic and a filled example that output one leave-by time and one preparation phone alarm time.
Three late-type fixes: one prevention rule for each pattern, so you can choose the rule that matches yours.
Three late notices: ready-to-send scripts for a work meeting, a friend and an appointment, each with an honest ETA and a request or next action.
Here's one fix, free:
Optimist: Replace a best-case guess with the actual time from a recent comparable journey.
